Dance Recital

Tomorrow I have a Dance Recital.Before the recital starts, we are going to practice the songs and the movements to the song.This is my fifth year dancing.This year i'm dancing to devil with the blue dress.Everything we wear is blue.I'm the smallest and the youngest in my dance class.My best friend is coming to my recital.Her name is Mercedes.

Saturday morning

The best part of my day yesterday was getting to see Anna for 3 hours. Daddy came home and it made me feel happy. We played outside a lot yesterday. It was a lot of fun to swing and jump on the trampoline. I did a front flip on the trampoline. I had a really bad dream last night. We were at Grandma's and there was a really deep hill, I mean really deep, like 100 feet deep in the backyard. We were eating dinner. Pa was watching Jack. When Pa wasn't looking, Jack fell down the steep hill. I ran after him and we were stuck down the really steep hill. Then I woke up. We are going to Katherine's house tonight. I am excited about that.

I like staying at home because I get to see my friends more often and we get to play outside a lot and we get to camp a lot. I think summer is like the best season because no school, it's really hot, you get to run around, drink lemonade and lots of other stuff. Summer is my favorite season of the whole year. Yesterday we washed the car but we didn't get to help. We got to play outside and eat pizza. We got to stay up and watch "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam." We stayed up late, and I mean LATE last night.

5/24/12

Yesterday we were stuck inside because it was stormy and rainy. We made lunch for Mrs. Goins and took it to her. We got a slushie yesterday with our cousins Courtney and Trevor. Gavin wasn't with us. I got a watermelon slushie. Trevor got a cherry one. Noah got an orange one. Courtney got a blue coconut one. Mom just got a Dr. Pepper. We watched a funny movie last night called "Pet Detective." I stayed up late to watch it all. I got Jack's blanket and put the blanket on my shoulder. Jack laid on my shoulder and kind of went to sleep. We had spaghetti for dinner and I ate two plates. We had a video chat with Daddy before bedtime. We didn't get to wash the car yesterday. We saw the Johnson's at the pond fishing with Pa. Aiden caught a huge fish. Today I hope we get to wash the car.

Second Grade

I just finished 2nd grade. It was really fun. I'm going to miss my friends, especially my best friend Catalina. My assistant teacher, Mrs. Jones, is retiring. She has worked at school for 30 years. I'm not going to miss Mrs. Goins because she is my neighbor. I really liked math in 2nd grade. The fractions were a little hard to do. I'm working on it. I didn't like writing real stories, I liked writing detailed stories. I didn't like writing 8 sentences but it was fun. The most fun thing I did in 2nd grade was reading. I had these really great chapter books and I was one of the highest readers. We do think marks that we use for our vocabulary. When we get a word, we go get a dictionary and write the meaning down and what page the word was on. Mason H. was in my class every year at B.H.T. He was very fun. I had a great time in 2nd grade. My favorite special was P.E. We have a lot of these programs at school. I liked the programs. The programs made me feel happy inside. My favorite lunch was nachos. My not-so-favorite lunch was meatloaf. I usually sit with people that are bad at school so they can be good. My best friends are Mercedes, Catalina, and Kylie. Kylie is really funny. My favorite field trip was going to the zoo. We saw really big turtles at the zoo and I mean THEY'RE BIG! We saw toads. They were cool. We really saw a really tall giraffe. It was taller than my house I think. I loved second grade. The best thing at BHT was that I got to see all my friends and the teachers. I am going to be sad during summer because I won't get to see a lot of my favorite teachers because I'm going to J.J.J. next year. I'm going to wash my car this summer and go to my neighbor's house, Mrs. Goins and help with the baby. Mrs. Goins is pregnant. She thinks she is having it in June.
